Connecting and verifying your bank account

To ensure the security and compliance of our platform, it’s essential that we verify the ownership and validity of your connected bank account. This verification is required to:

How can I verify my bank account?

Verifying your bank account is a simple process. Here's how it works:

  1. Make a 1 cent iDEAL payment: Initiate a 1 cent payment from the bank account you wish to connect.
  2. Enter your IBAN: After completing the payment, you’ll need to enter the full International Bank Account Number (IBAN) of the account you’re connecting to.
  3. Verification: We will then verify that the IBAN and the account owner match the details from the iDEAL payment.

This process ensures that the bank account is valid and registered under your name.

What if my bank is not supported?

Currently, our verification process only supports banks that offer iDEAL payments. If your bank does not support iDEAL, contact us to perform a manual verification.

What if there’s a name mismatch?

It’s important that the name on your bank account matches the name registered on our platform. If there’s a discrepancy, the name match check will fail, preventing you from connecting that account.

You may get a name mismatch error when trying to connect shared or business accounts where the account might be in your name but doesn’t pass the automated check due to the account’s nature. If you encounter this issue, reach out to us to perform a manual verification.
